Through SMS locker, you can assign a few of your contacts as private. In such a case, the messages send by your private contact will be secure and would need you to provide an unlock code to view it.
In this way, it ensures your personal messages remain personal. If your unlock password is incorrect,
you will not be able to view the message.

There are very few people who do not have a secret. For all the rest, this app is just apt in that you are more at ease from your friends or family discovering your private messages in your inbox. Unless you open the app using the correct password, you will not be able to view the messages sent by those
contacts you categorized as private.

Your Sms, Mms, Call log, Calendar, Bookmarks, Dictionary and Contact data are stored in CSV, eml and VCF file format:

Backup consists of those files that are inside a zip archive and you can easily read those files in your phone or computer! If your phone has inbuilt storage, the default backup location will probably be the internal storage card and not the external. This is because the phone reports the storage that way.
